Altrincham Christmas Markets are happening and it’s just been announced by Altrincham Town Centre supporter Sarah Walmsley
Like Taste of Trafford this a great opportunity to get our local town centre busy and for local businesses an opportunity to show what you offer all year round
Below is a statement from Sarah:
“It’s happening! Put December 17th and 18th in your diary because Altrincham is getting its own Christmas Market this year. And PLEASE PLEASE spread the word – tell all your friends and family members.
Organised by Barry Cooperman of La Rioja, The Belgian Bar and The Fish Game, in conjunction with Altrincham Market, the event is called The Christmas Kitchen Food Fair and will open from 10am until 4pm each day. Banners, posters and flyers will be distributed as fast as we can get them out.
It is really important to Altrincham so have something like this on the last full shopping weekend before Christmas. Many of you will know very well that some businesses either make or break during the festive season, so let’s try and get Altrincham buzzing like never before.
The event is not just about food. There will be music, face painting and hopefully a little dancing too. It will be a fun family day out where punters can feast on hot and cold food and drink as well as buy yummy food gifts fo friends and family. It could solve a lot of problems when it comes to finding something for those ‘hard to buy for’ people.
In addition, the market is open as usual on the Saturday and on the Sunday, the last Vintage & Food Producers Market of the year will be held. You really can’t afford to miss this weekend in Altrincham so tell your customers and EVERYONE you know about it. Let’s face it, Altrincham needs this boost so let’s pull together and make sure it is a success for the whole town.”
Altrincham HQ will be live tweeting during the 2 days where we make the most of a truly Altrincham Xmas Celebration
